General Terms and Conditions
For guests of the Sosta directory — browsing, inquiries, chat.
§ 1 Scope
These terms apply to everyone who visits the Sosta directory at sosta.app — that is, to guests who view, send inquiries to or message establishments and talents. Talents with their own profile are subject to the Terms of Use for Talents; operators are subject to the Terms and Conditions for Establishments.
§ 2 What Sosta is
Sosta is an industry directory for erotic establishments and self-employed talents in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other European countries — together with a management platform for establishments and a self-management tool for talents. Which countries appear in the directory depends on the legal situation in each; the map shows it.
§ 3 What Sosta is not
- Sosta is not an intermediary for bookings or services. Whether, when and on what terms a meeting takes place is agreed directly between guest and establishment or guest and talent. Sosta is not involved.
- Sosta takes no commission — not on inquiries, not on appointments, not on revenue.
- Sosta does no matching. There is no recommendation such as “this talent suits you”. The order in the directory depends first on who is currently available; after that, Talent+ profiles come before free ones. Beyond that, no position can be bought.
- Sosta publishes no reviews by guests about talents or establishments.
§ 4 Access for adults only
The directory is intended exclusively for persons of legal age. Before the first profile we ask for the year of birth and store only the confirmation, not the year. The site carries a machine-readable age label that youth protection software recognises. Details: Youth protection.
§ 5 Entries in the directory
Entries for establishments contain public business data (name, address, telephone, email, website) taken from public sources or maintained by the establishment itself. Operators can take over their entry and maintain it themselves — or have it removed via the opt-out form; Sosta removes it after a plausibility check.
Talent profiles appear publicly only if the person concerned has consented herself (explicit consent, revocable at any time, Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). She decides scope, visibility and contact channels in her own settings; revoking consent removes the content without delay. Sosta does not generate profile photos; machine-generated images (city images, sample profiles) are labelled.
§ 6 Inquiries and chat
The inquiry form lets you reach an establishment; the reply appears in an anonymous chat in your browser, and no email is sent. The chat on a talent’s profile lets you reach the talent herself, without an account: your browser generates a random device identifier for this. Messages are stored encrypted and deleted 24 hours after the last message in the conversation; after that, an empty entry without any wording remains for up to 90 days, which either side can remove. Sosta does not read along and does not analyse them automatically. If one side reports a message, it is retained for review. A talent can block you; the block remains even after the messages have long been deleted. Details on storage and deletion: Privacy policy.
§ 7 What is not permitted
As a guest, you undertake
- not to harass, threaten or insult anyone — neither in the chat nor in inquiries;
- not to offer or ask for unprotected practices (§ 32 ProstSchG, German Prostitute Protection Act);
- not to collect content of the directory by automated means (scrapers, bots), or to copy it and publish it elsewhere;
- not to store, distribute or use for other purposes profile photos or details of talents;
- not to pass on your access to the directory to minors.
In the event of violations, Sosta can exclude device identifiers and IP ranges from the chat and from inquiries; a talent can block you herself at any time.
§ 8 Reporting legal violations
If you see content that is unlawful or infringes your rights (for example a photo of you without consent), report it via Report content. Sosta reviews every report, confirms receipt and communicates its decision (Art. 16 Digital Services Act). Child sexual abuse material can be reported anonymously.
§ 9 Availability and liability
Sosta provides the directory with the care of a prudent provider but does not owe uninterrupted availability; maintenance windows and force majeure remain reserved. Sosta checks entries for plausibility to the best of its knowledge but gives no warranty for the accuracy or currency of information that is not maintained by the respective establishment or talent herself.
Sosta is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health. In the case of simple negligence, Sosta is liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, and limited in amount to the foreseeable, typical damage. Otherwise liability is excluded; mandatory statutory liability, in particular under the German Product Liability Act, remains unaffected. Sosta is not liable for anything agreed between guest and establishment or guest and talent — Sosta is not involved (§ 3).
§ 10 Changes
Sosta may amend these terms with effect for the future where there is an objective reason (changed legal situation, new features). The current version is always published here with its date.
§ 11 Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. Provider and contact: Legal notice. Sosta is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
